Luz and Kalyx have a history. She was his mate and she knew it, so did Kalyx. One slight problem, Luz cannot shift. When Kalyx goes through his first shift, he's a mess. It takes him a week to recover and when he does Luz is gone. It's five years later and Luz returns to attend her sister's wedding as maid of honor. She has created a life for herself, but still feels empty inside. She comes face to face with Kalyx. Time has not changed their feelings for one another. Can they overcome all obstacles to finally find a life together? This was a short story that was well written and thoroughly enjoyable. Even though the story was short it was a great read. When you need a quick romance fix, this book is just the ticket. So, sit back and enjoy this short and sexy story. You won't be disappointed.
