A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Robin
Wraith has no idea who she is or where she comes from. Her life began the moment she woke up in a dumpster in an alley. As a wraith she can't be touched by anyone without being in pain. What Wraith wants more than anything is to find out who she is and where she comes from. When she agrees to work for the new parp-ops team the FBI is putting together, they promise to help her find out the answers she needs. For some reason wraiths only live for ten years after they are reborn and Wraiths time is going to be up soon. But before she dies for good this time she wants one more thing, to make love with fellow teammate, Caleb. Caleb O'Flare is a human Shaman and the team’s healer. From the first day the team was formed Caleb found himself interested in Wraith. He has been unable to get close to her because she has built walls around her heart and will not let anyone get close to her. So Caleb is surprised when Wraith propositions him and then changes her mind. He is determined to find out why and now that he knows she wants him, he will do whatever it takes to get her. This is the second installment of Ms. DePaul's Para-Ops series. This is a great new series. There is enough action and romance to keep a reader interested in the story. The idea of a team of different paranormal races working together to protect the world is told in such a way that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The next installment is CHOSEN BY SIN. It just came out this week. It's Dex's story. His story was started in this book.

Book Blurb for Chosen by Fate
Although he keeps company with a vampire and a were, human Shaman Caleb O'Flare can definitely hold his own. But neither his psychic ability nor his healing powers can help his sexy-as-hell teammate, Wraith-a ghost with no memory of her human existence, who cannot experience touch without pain. No wraith has managed to exist past its tenth year, so her time is about to run out. She wants only two things before accepting her fate: to learn her human identity, and experience one night with Caleb...
