Tall, Dark & Dead

Garnet Lacey is a witch with a problem. A whole team of Vatican agents is out to destroy the witches of the world, and have already struck Garnet’s original coven, leaving her a witch on her own. To make matter worse, she has invited the spirit of the vengeance Goddess Lilith into her body, and sassy Lilith has a nasty tendency to take over Garnet’s body whenever the whim strikes her. So when gorgeous, broody vampire Sebastian Von Traum enters Garnet’s magic shop for some “ingredients”, her entire world is turned upside down in a delightfully fun adventure.

The drama is seriously amped up with the arrival of Sebastian’s son, Mátyás, a dhampyr. Not to mention the arrival of Garnet’s ex, Parrish, another vampire, as well as the order of Vatican agents all on the hunt for a mystical grimoire, and things go crazy in a matter of minutes. Can Garnet save the day, save Sebastian, the grimoire, stop Lilith, and keep the agents from slaughtering her new boyfriend? Not to mention figure out which of the two delectable vampires she wants to keep? Read on to find out.

Tall, Dark and Dead is a charmingly original vampire novel, heavy on the comedy, with just the right amount of astrology and mysticism thrown in. The romance, comedy, and drama are all present in perfect measure. Readers everywhere will just adore this novel. I certainly did.
