What a great book! It quickly captured my interest and held it until the very end. The story was well written, engaging and was impossible to put down. This book is the first in a series called “7 Brides for 7 SEALs”. I was sad to see the book end, until I realized that I had the second book in the series to read. The author did a great job of making the characters pop from the pages. The pages almost melted with the heat between these two. The secondary characters were well introduced to the point that you are very happy there are more books to follow. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Nick Reardon is a Navy SEAL, on his way to visit an injured teammate and attend a course that will assist him in his duties. Abby Stuart is travelling to visit her injured brother and sees a military member who she decides to give her first class ticket to. Little did they know how the trip was going to end. As they realize that they are indeed off to visit the same person they are immediately drawn to one another. It seemed like someone or something was stepping in to ensure they met. As they continue through their night and the days that follow they quickly have to decide if they are going to run or be brace and fight for what they want.
She offers him her first class seat. He offers her dinner.
When Abby Stuart accepts hunky Navy SEAL Nick Reardon's invitation, she gets a red-hot one-night stand that becomes an irresistible weekend interlude. But a glimpse of a ghost and other supernatural events suggest they could be more than a brief affair.
