When A Lioness Pounces

A Lion's Pride Book 6

WOOHOO! What a wild ride! I have loved author Eve Langlais and her Lion’s Pride series from the very first. "When a Lioness Pounces" in the sixth book in this fabulous series. In this book, we get to know the highly sarcastic, very determined lioness Reba, and the very mysterious club owner, Gaston. She’s fiery, and he’s slick. She’s a lioness used to getting exactly what she wants, and he’s used to hiding in the shadows of the world. They are both highly complex characters, and I am eagerly anticipating the next book in the series. The storyline is dark and twisted, and yet still ridiculously fun and exciting. I would suggest reading these books in order, all the better to get to know the Lions and their allies.

Reba is intrigued. The new guy in town, Gaston, isn’t normal. He doesn’t smell anything like a normal man, so what is he? Reba is determined to find out. As she sets out on her mission to discover his secrets, Gaston is just as determined to keep her at arm’s length. He can’t let on that he’s attracted to her, lest he lead her into a danger that she cannot battle and survive. Reba couldn’t care less. She’s got her sights set on Gaston, and when the danger starts to encroach on her city, Reba is first in line to take a swat at it, claws and all. But when she discovers that the danger is coming after Gaston, this fierce lioness is ready for war. And if that stubborn man-thing will let her in, she’s more than ready to pounce him, too.

Book Blurb for When A Lioness Pounces

There’s a new guy in town, a mysterious and domineering man with secrets.

Reba likes secrets. She especially loves swatting at them until they spill their guts—sometimes quite literally.

But Gaston isn’t swayed by her sensual allure.

LIE.

This slick club owner is very much intrigued by the cocoa-skinned beauty, but he doesn’t dare show too much interest lest his enemies notice.

As if Reba cares about danger. This lioness thrives on action and a bit of violence, and she knows how to do it with class. She’s ready to strap on her heels, gloss her lips, and go to battle. Watch out because, once she’s got you in her sights, she’s not afraid to pounce.
