I always knew I wanted to be an author. (Okay, maybe except for a brief two month period after watching the movie "Top Gun," when I was convinced that I would make the perfect jet fighter pilot). So I wrote, and I wrote, and I read, then I wrote some more, and when I turned eighteen, I became a...firefighter.
Many years have since passed, and while I am still happily employed as a full-time firefighter in California, I was finally able to get back to my love of writing. (You know, the stuff that school essays and thesis papers suck right out of you?)
In between being an addicted trail runner, and a consumer of all things cheese puff, I am working on my third book. So if I don't see you at the next mud run, (because if there isn't mud it just isn't fun, right?), I hope you'll come back to my website soon and see what's new here!
Hiding in plain sight is a skill that Nora Watkins has learned to perfect. Years of quiet anonymity have flashed by like the blur of passing faces on a crowded city street, and Nora begins to believe that she might be free of the Shadows from her past.
But born with extraordinary Otherkind talents that could be considered both a blessing and a curse, Nora is a rare prize the Shadows find they can't resist. Relentlessly pursued by a group of ruthless Shadows, Nora turns to a former lover for help.
Carlos Mendez, the now head of the Tracker Division, which consists of the Otherkind men and women who are tasked with protecting the humans from the Others, and the Others from themselves, comes to her aid.
As does the powerful Kerkorian vampire, Zeke Walker, whose services were obtained via something akin to blackmail by Nora's M'Tutsi bounty hunter sister. Despite this, Zeke soon learns that the fine line between business and pleasure isn't always black and white...
Lone wolf, Rory Archer, has never failed at a single mission. But then again, he’s never met a Halfling, either. Finding himself the hunted instead of the hunter, Rory unwinds a twisted trail that leads back to Amber, a spirited Halfling with undeniable ties to his attackers.
Bound to vows initially forged out of necessity, Rory and Amber's relationship quickly surges into more than either of them had bargained on.
Scrambling to identify the mastermind behind their troubles before joining the casualty list himself, Rory is faced with doing the unthinkable, or watching Amber turn into a slave for his species.
