The Red Girl is a great mix of horror and mystery while maintaining a gripping storyline that didn't become overdone or too unbelievable. I loved the premise...a group of friends become reunited due to their respective heartbreak after their friends death. Pulled into a parallel world where things are at once eerily familiar yet hauntingly different, the characters will have to face their own demons while trying to uncover the truth behind the death. Haunting when it should be, heartbreaking when needed, The Red Girl is definitely a book that will keep readers enthralled. I couldn't put the story down. Luke Walker is an author to keep your eye on!
