Wolf Brand Geirson was raised by a brutal leader, who just so happened to be his father. Not wanting to carry on the legacy of brutal rule, he wanted to escape. But to do that, he had to kill his father. After having spent hundreds of years avoiding the shape shifting society, he is thrust back into the brood by the death of a human by a werewolf. What awaits him is two women who he would die for. When they come under threat it is up to him to decide if he will step into what is his birthright or he can walk away again and leave his lover and friend behind.
WOW!!!! Loved this book!!! First off, I love werewolves. Second it has a hot, super broody sexy main character that has several depths. I really grew to love Brand and rooted for him throughout the book. He really did have a brutal dad and that made me want better for him. Alice is just an amazing friend that anyone would love to have. Sometimes the ones you think are the weakest turn out to be the strongest! I just was hooked from the beginning till the very end. Ms. Moore did a fantastic job of keeping me entertained!! I can’t wait for more!
Shapeshifter Brand Geirson was raised to rule the Broods of Fenrir, but he refused his birthright. Instead, he killed their brutal leader-his own father-and walked away.
For hundreds of years he's avoided brood society, until a werewolf kills an innocent human woman and Brand finds himself dragged back into the violent politics of the shapeshifters. When the two brood women who mean the most to him come under threat, he must take up the throne and risk becoming the kind of vicious bastard his father was, or let the broods descend further into chaos-taking the friend he swore to protect and his lover with them.
