Mercy and Adam have always cracked me up. Their world is so fun but it has it’s danger too. When I have a bad day I can always curl up with them and just laugh. Their world is so different and interesting, I mean you have werewolves, a coyote, shamans and witches, the fey..there is literally everything in here and yet it doesn't take away from the story. With each book in Mercy’s world you are introduced to new characters and reintroduced to some old crusty one’s. They all make the book better and suck you in.
This time their situation involves the fae and vampires. Aiden was an interesting character that was involved throughout the book. It was really his story and Mercy and Adam were just the supporting actors.Tad and Zee come along for the ride as well. Jesse’s comes into herself in this book more than she did the others, to me. She and Aiden had a little issue that she dealt with on her own and put her own flare on it that had me cracking up. It was crazy and adventurous and I loved every minute of it. The fight with the Troll was just crazy and I recommend this book.
